Update from Archie (formerly known as "Bo")
Hi it's me Archie. I wanted to write and tell you all the wonderful things that's been happening in my life. First and most important, I have a new name. I am now called Archie and I love my new name and life! Dad said because I had brothers named Eli and Payton who have crossed over the Rainbow Bridge before me, it's only fitting I am Archie.
I wanted to tell you I have been a very very busy. When I got to my new house, I was scared and I showed my teeth to my dad. I learned really quickly that is NOT a good thing to do, because even though my dad loves me, he not going to put up with me being Mr Grumpy. I love my dad as he is fun and he pets me, and call me his buddy. He sneaks me special human treats even though mom says NO NO NO.
I love my mom too as she walks me 2-3 miles every day and we go the beach once a week. I like to lay next to her when she works and I love sitting next to her when she reads. I need to find her a book she can read out loud to me. Any reading suggestions? (Editor's Note: "Good Boy Fergus" and "Fergus and the Mystery Meow"). I lay on my flamingo rug when mom cooks so I can get good smells and a chef's treat once in a while. My Dad says I am a momma's boy and I think he's right as I just love my mom. Just last week we were outside planting some flowers. I inspected and she did the work. We do everything together.
I have been on road trips to meet and greet my human sisters as have three of them. I have one in Florida. I haven't been there yet but I met Kristina in Charlotte with mom. She is very sweet so we shared her bed during the visit. Mom mentioned that if I am a good boy we may drive down to visit soon and meet "Mickey". Who is Mickey?
I like Katherine the best. I see her weekly because she goes to school nearby in Williamsburg. While there we walk all over this historical Colonial Capital. Then we go over to William and Mary's campus for a stroll. I like this place better as there are no horses allowed.
Then there is Victoria who visits us weekly. Sometime she brings another human with her who smells like cats and tries to pet me. I growled at him. After they left, mom told me I was a good judge of humans for that reaction.
Over all I love my new home and life. I have new friends. We visit new places and most of all I love my momma and she loves me back!
Come see me soon when you drop off other Westies in Tidewater Virginia.
