Queen Elizabeth set an example to the whole world not only of how to take care of animals, but most importantly to make them part of the family. Touching tribute that her favorite horse viewed the funeral procession with one of her head scarves on its saddle…. and that the corgies will stay in the family with Andrew. Will forever remember someone saying that the corgies were a “rolling carpet” everywhere she walked! They share that distinction with Westies for sure!
We recently lost our Westie, Bonni age 17. It was so hard to have her put down. She was having seizures, she slept all the time and we let go because we loved. Keeping her alive for us would be selfish. We took her to the vet loved on her as she went we all cried the vet cried with us. I still miss her so much if this was paper it would be wet. Bonni was the sweetest smartest dog we have ever had Bonni watched tv & ran into the room when for every commercial that had animals real or animated and would bark at the TV.
