Crime wave continues: Pittsburgh Police seeking Mom and Dad of this Criminal Perp.
*UPDATES* 3/14/2022
Do you know me? If so, I need help ASAP. No there is no reward.
UPDATES:
As the Perp was led away he was heard yelling, "To heck with a phone call, I want a Milk Bone and some water!" The arresting officer said he traveled well but wanted to get into the front seat so he could see better. "If he had a microchip or even a collar with an ID tag, he would be back home instead of spending the night in a jail cell", said Officer Tomkins. "We see lots of bad people on the streets, but this one was a Good Boy who just went out for an unsupervised walk. Someone must have left a gate or door open somewhere".
Westie Rescue has reached out to the Chief of Police in the Oliver Township to let him know we have local volunteers from Westie Rescue of Western PA standing by to assist with this hardened criminal, to provide "rehabilitation" and get him ready for more positive society interactions… 🙂
03/14 UPDATE
The prep in question would not even give his name and home address when questioned. The local police had to rely on Twitter and the internet to find his parents with success.
The local "soft on crime" District Attorney has declined to press charges and reduced his fine to ZERO, so this jaywalker will get to go home to mom and dad, who quickly came to the Police precinct to claim their little criminal. The parents were busy pointing to each other on who was responsible during the Westie's escape from their house, saying and promising, "it will never happen again". Their next stop was a pet store to get a collar tag like this one:
As he was walked to the parked car, the Westie showed he was happy as his tail was up and he gave off an aura of self importance. He told the gathered press that the jail food was not bad as donuts and French Fries are in a Westies most sought after human food groups. His parents said he will be on dry dog food crunchies with NO toppings, and no Animal Planet TV tonight once they get him back home, as punishment for his actions. (WR note: This punishment will last approx 5 mins !)
Westie Rescue is glad to see a happy ending to this internet sensation. Westie Rescue is here to help any Westie in trouble whether it be like this guy's brush with the law or a Westie who needs a new home as he/she can not be cared for by it's owner(s). Each Year, Westie Rescue volunteers all over the USA and Canada, help hundreds of Westies get that second chance at a new life. With your continued support we will be here for the next 20 years. – Westie Rescue USA
