WESTIE CHRISTMAS PARADE
Hosted by Westie Rescue
Saturday December 5, 2009, 9:30-1 PM

All Westies (and Westie-want-2-Bs) are invited to come and celebrate Christmas Season with this fun walk for Westies and their humans in support of Westie Rescue. This event is part of the annual Scottish Christmas Walk held in old town Alexandria each December.

Each year we invite the hundreds of Westies we have placed over the last 15 years to have a fun march through the streets of Old Town Alexandria and play with all other Westies in support of efforts to find open arms and hearts for homeless and sometime helpless West Highland White Terriers (Westies). Rain or Shine the parade goes on! In 2008 we had over 125 Westies marching!

Location: All Westies will meet at the Safeway at 500 South Royal St 9AM- Alexandria , VA (Near Washington, DC in Northern Virginia)
Costs: Free
Date: Saturday December 5, 2009
Times: 9:30PM-1PM
Water and treats for the dogs will be provided.

Last year Westie Rescue helped over 150 Westies find new homes and we would like to offer our thanks to everyone who supported our program through adoptions and donations to keep us up and running.
