Having a home-made first aid kit for your dog may pay off tremendously in an emergency. Fix up a box with the following supplies and medications:

  • Adhesive Tape 1" Roll
  • Bandage/Gauze Sterile Gauze Pads (Non-Stick)
  • Vetwrap Or Other Elastic Bandage
  • Ky Jelly / Petroleum Jelly
  • Cotton (Balls Or Roll)
  • Alchohol (70% Isopropanal)
  • Hydrogen Peroxide
  • Saline Solution (Contact Lens Solution Is O.K.)
  • Styptic Powder Or Silver Nitrate Sticks

  • Thermometer (Rectal/Digital)
